TerraBloom Project:
TerraBloom is an Erasmus+ youth workers mobility project that connects sustainable agriculture with non-formal education, inclusion and active citizenship. Through practical learning, intercultural exchange and reflection, the project supported youth workers in discovering new ways to bring green skills and environmental awareness into their local communities.
The project brought together 36 youth workers from Greece, Romania, Italy, Czechia, Hungary and Spain for a shared learning experience in Greece. By combining theory with hands-on and outdoor activities, TerraBloom created a space for participants to explore how nature-based learning can strengthen youth work practice and inspire young people to engage more actively with sustainability.
About us:
TerraBloom was created to respond to the growing need for practical environmental education, stronger green skills and more inclusive approaches in youth work. The project explored sustainable agriculture as a meaningful tool for learning, participation and community engagement.
Its main focus was to strengthen the competences of youth workers so they can better support young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, through educational activities linked to soil health, biodiversity, composting, food production and sustainable lifestyles. TerraBloom also aimed to build stronger European cooperation between partner organisations and to encourage the exchange of good practices across different national contexts.
